October 22nd every year is my mother's birthday. I mean, my sweet, lovely, biological mother's birthday. This year, I had promised myself to make sure that I made her really happy and I'm so glad myself and my siblings successfully pulled this off. We had not really done something of such for her before now, but I'm so glad we did today. And yes, from her voice when we had a video call with her, I could see so much joy. That joy made her pray some prayers that really shook me and I really felt those prayers from her heart.

I'm breaking your heart at this point because I'm not going into further details about the birthday celebration. But one thing is this, I was thinking about so many things earlier today and could not but conclude that mothers are precious angels that do not only bring us to this world and cater for us alongside our fathers, but they are a symbol of true life and light. You have a plus if your mother is a strong believer in Christ, a good prayer woman who understands the art of war on her kneels. For this, I can boldly tell that my mother's secret place is a battleground where many battles have been won.

What makes a mother Special?

This part of this article is supposed to be a list of different points but I really cannot place my head around anything. This is simply because no list can comprehensively contain all that mothers represent. The truth actually is that it will be unfair to box the specialty of a good mother into some three, five or even twenty random points.

My mother is getting older. She still has her mother, my grand mother alive. That's some generational thing there. One honest lesson I learnt from my personal experience is that as children who are responsible to parents, you should make sure that you work towards coming forth as a good harvest. Parents are meant to reap the rewards of their labour and that is dependent largely on how you choose to turn out. If they have brought you up well, you must make sure you yield well. If I should illustrate better, a farmer will definitely curse a crop that yields nothing even after he has invested all his time and resources in growing that field. Just in case you didn't know too, you should read why Jesus had to curse the fig tree for showing signs of blossoming without having fruits (may not be a direct illustration but is definitely in line).

Before I end this, let me mention that this post is first dedicated to my biological mother and every other woman who has played and is still playing the role of a mother in my life. It is also dedicated to all women who are in the position of mothers.
